Companionship and befriending visits
Regular home visits for company, a cup of tea and a good chat. Time to talk, laugh, share stories or enjoy a hobby together, and a simple way to ease loneliness.
Check-in calls and telephone befriending
Regular friendly phone calls for a chat and to check all is well. A reassuring way to stay in touch if your mum or dad lives alone.
Days out and social outings
Outings for older people: a café, the park, a garden centre or a local group, at whatever pace feels right.
Shopping, errands and prescription collection
Going to the shops together, or picking up what's needed. I can also run errands and collect prescriptions from the pharmacy.
Hospital and GP appointment escort
Someone to take Mum or Dad to hospital, GP, dentist or hairdresser appointments, with company while they wait.
Home help and light housework
Domestic help for older people: washing up, dusting, laundry and changing the bed.
Help with meal preparation
Help with meal preparation, and sitting down to enjoy the meal together.
Letters, bills and phones
Help reading post, sorting paperwork, making calls or using a mobile phone or tablet.
Sitting service and respite for carers
I sit with your loved one for a few hours, so family carers can take a proper break.

Working alongside carers
If your loved one already has carers, I can fit in around them. They look after personal care, and I bring the company and extra help.
What I do not do
I do not provide personal care. That means no help with washing, dressing, toileting or medication.
